Jealous of Others Money – Wrong Perspective

Hello World,

We have all been in situations where you just find your hardship as unfair. It’s unfair that everything bad is happening to you and not others. It’s unfair that this other person is so much more successful while, I am putting in more work. It’s unfair that this other person has so much money to spend and earning so much more than me and the list of self pity goes on…

Don’t lie, we have all been through that self pitty thought. It takes a certain personal growth to say, what they are doing is their journey and I need to just focus on myself to make the same happen for myself. All of my self pitty thoughts I look back and laugh at! “Why is this happening to me thoughts!”

Story time! This was a long time ago. I was always a hard worker and my mind has always been on my growth, both personally and financially. This was back in highschool when I started a job at a restaurant and my monthly salary was hardly 25K. My friend on the other hand landed a job at a bank for 40K. Back then that was a big deal, no highschool student were getting paid that much. I was always very jealous of her success since, I thought I was putting in a lot of work and I want it more than her. As time went by and our salary also went up. Compared to her I had to work three jobs to earn as much she was earning.

I would always compare and put myself down for no reason. I thought I am putting in work too, why isn’t opportunity coming to me just like it did for her. Then I started telling myself that it was my fault and maybe I lacked certain capabilities to advance.

However, no ones situation stays the same. I failed to realize at that given time, her journey was different from mine and I did not need to compare myself to her. Now I earn well above what she earns. Her financial goals is get to my salary level in 5 years. This is because we lead different lives, have different goals, and have different struggles.

Don’t look at people as competition and compare. Think of them as motivation. Look up to people who are working hard and don’t question their wealth but ask yourself what can you do to get to that level.

As always, thank you for all of your support.

Sustainability – Is Your Job Secure?

Hello World,

Although I had a bunch of masks available to me at home, I ordered another 50 pair. Yes, I started stocking up again just like how I did in the beginning of the pandamic. The numbers are peaking again. Although, the government is being conservative with the shut down, we are not far away from it.

Although this pandamic was the absolute terrible, I had my perks of not having to commute to work, I saved money on commute, I saved money on eating out. I had time to focus on myself and take care of my mental health over all.

But I want you all to think about the ones who has lost their jobs during the pandamic. It wasn’t as pretty for them as they all had to focus on getting another job or changing their career path and skill set. Think about it for it, if you still have a job then you are lucky but, let’s say the second wave it and you were the next to get laid off or fired?!

How much security do you have in your job? Almost zero, and that stands true even if there was no pandamic. Pandamic just makes everything worse, we can all agree on that!

Therefore, we need to upgrade our skills, always be aware of the current trends, and prepare for the future.

I always tell my audience to always, always, always, try to gain another source of income. Yes, not one but, two. One can pay your bills and the other you can re-invest to build wealth. There are some of you who are going to be like, no money can’t buy happiness. Money can’t, and I agree but it does buy you a bit of freedom and comfort to easily have time for what makes you the happiest.

Think about what I wrote, and share your ideas to help others grow!

What is Required in a Good Partner?

Hello World,

First of all you need to be a good partner to yourself. Yes, you need to be content with where you stand in life. You need to at least know your plans and goals. Don’t be a pushover and lost. If you don’t have it figured which, most of us have not… try to plan and know what you want.

Many people who are always lost and lack initiative would tell you, yes but, everyone is lost, you just don’t know what will come your way next. That is true, but at the same time, you need to know what you like and don’t and stay true to your values.

Right off the bat, good money sense! You don’t want someone who doesn’t know what they are doing with their money. You don’t want someone drowning in debt, you don’t want someone who is not saving! Also, you don’t want someone who doesn’t have a retirement fund.

Trust/Understanding. You need to find a best frined in the partner. They need to understand your drive and purpose. Again going back to my first point, you have to have drive and purpose. You have to keep on working on yourself. Growth is the key to life.

Understanding comes from open communication. Don’t be afraid to have deep conversation so you both can learn more about each other on an intellectual and emotional level. This will allow both of you to keep yourself honest.

I feel those are the core for a good partner. Obviously, there are more things to add per your own personal preference.

Thank you,

What Scares You About Starting A Business?

Hello World,

What scares you about starting your own business? There is several underlying fears people often overthink about and just stop pursuing their passions. I am sure you felt one of these or the other, here is a list of your self limiting beliefs…

  1. What will people think? How will they look at me when I start a business?
  2. What if I fail? What will people think of me then?
  3. What if I lose money?
  4. I don’t know which products or services…
  5. This is too much work, I don’t know anything
  6. I don’t know where to start my business, their are way too many pieces.
  7. The market is too saturated for what I want to do...
  8. Too much money to invest…
  9. I don’t know how to talk to my suppliers
  10. I don’t know how to market my product. I am not a social media personality. I am too shy.
  11. I don’t know any of the legal stuff…
  12. I am not good enough…
  13. I just don’t know where to start…

Money

Here is the thing, you will always have these fears if you don’t over come and take a step to begin somewhere. These days people do not take a lot of money to start their business. You have to see what is costing you. The supplies, shipping fees, hosting, advertising and little extra for other costs. You have to plan your exepense. Even then you won’t see a profit right away, unless you are selling a stellar product or service.

You have to keep reinvesting until it grows. The whole business journey is a process. But you have to be willing and consistent to see a growth.

Get to saving about $1,000 to $3,000 to invest in yourself. Get a sewing machine, a circuit, a camera, or an orbelo account to start your own business.

Product Research

It is easy these days. Orbelo literally shows you analysis on how much products are selling and which ones are popular. There are other paid analytics tools. You need to always research on current trends to stay up to date. But, if you have your own product then it comes down to your marketing and your social media presence.

Also, if you are designing your products, then i have glog posts on how to research trade marks.

Find suppliers and reach out to them and negotiate the prices. If you are using oberlo, you won’t need to do it. However, for a good pricing strategy where you are making a profit, please plan it all out!

Where to Start? Register your business.

Do a Google Search, it tells you step by step. This is literally what you type in, “how to start a business in (Your Area)”. This will give you start to finish of how, what, why and when tot register your business and any small fees associated. Do the search or you will be left with your self limiting beliefs.

Start your research before you write in the comments that it can’t be done! Have a little faith in yourself.

Thank you,

Dropshipping Vs. Amazon FBA – which one is right for you?

Hellow World,

Big questoin of the day, Amazon FBA or Dropshipping?

1. You conduct product research. Choose products or a product first.

Amazon FBA: You reach out to a supplier of the product, for example on AliBaba or AliExpress. You ask for samples. They send you samples, you approve. Then you order the amount of products you want to send to Amazons fulfilment center. What you are doing is buying inventory space from Amazon and Amazon does the rest. When a customer orders that product from your page, Amazon ships it out.

Risks: You might not sell out, hence inventory space has a cost. There is a loss right there. Plus, buying bulk will cost you a lot of money.

Don’t forget, packaging, shipping, advertising and businesses also has fees.

However, with higher risks there is higher returns. You have potential of making well over $80,000 a month on Amazon FBA depending on your product research. Let that sink in! Do your research if you have money to invest.

2. You conduct product research. Choose products or a product first.

Dropshipping: You set up droppshipping on many different sites such as Shopify or WIX. Shopify and or WIX act as a store where people buy the product you are dropshipping. You can use many dropshippng sites such as Oberlo, WIX, there are numerous ones out there OR, you can go to suppliers directly. You reach out to a supplier of the product, for example on AliBaba or AliExpress. You can skip this part but it would be good that you ask for samples.

Once your dropshipping, for example, Oberlo is set up with Shopify. A customer can come to your website and order the item. You would see the order, go to that item on AliExpress /AliBaba (it’s integrated with Shopify), then fill out the required information and order. Ali Express will directly ship the product to your customer.

Custom packaging: Ask your suppliers they will gladly do it for you but it will cost you.

Risks: You might not sell out without proper marketing. You need target audiences and heavy marketing.

Don’t forget, packaging, shipping, advertising and businesses also has fees.

However, with lower risks and investments the return may be much lower than Amazon FBA. You have potential of making well over $12,000 to $40,000 a month by Dropshipping depending on your product research and marketing. Let that sink in! Do your research if you have money to invest.

At the end, it all comes down to how well you are branding and marketing the products. Use Facebook advertising and marketplace. Use every social media channels you have!

The thing is, there is potential! You just have to take the chance and do your research!

Main question: Which one is good if you are just starting off? Dropshipping ask for lower investments hence, lower risks. You are basically selling someone elses products for them!

Thank you,

Sales / Customer Service Professionals Are Human – Please Share

Hello World,

If you can help me share this to as many people as possible, I would appreciate it!

This is more of a rant than an opinion peice. There are some people out there who treat servers, customer service and sales professional very, very poorly. They are very manipulative and pressure sales people to act as they please just because they feel they have bought the sales person after they had made the transaction on the product.

Hold on for a second, yes, it’s good to know that you as a customer are supposed to be treated like GOD since, customer service is what will bring you back. But, you are in no position to harrass people you are providing you service.

If you are someone, who thinks you are above other people or you feel entitled in some way, I have no respect for people like you!

My family member has been in sales for 10 years. She sees multiple nut cases like these, who come in and buy then call the sales person back to get discounts. Recently, one lady has been calling day and night for 6 days and on off days. Like are you kidding me? I am sure you wouldn’t appreciate someone calling you over the weekend on your off day, if you worked a commission job and have sales target to fulfil. Do you understand the pressure a sales person goes through?

This lady called and threaten to cancel the deal. My family member doens’t get a base salary. She is on full commission. The fact that someone could harrass her for 6 days and then cancel the deal is pathetic. Not only did the sales person feel the pressure from her bosses when making the sale to meet her qouta but, then she has to fight to keep the deal?

My family member, worked very politely with the lady, giving her many options. On her day off she told the customer, it’s my day off, I will take care of your inquirey when I return to work on Friday. This rude customer responded by saying, she will cancel then sent a rude text saying, “I can’t believe your attitude changed after the sale was made” EXCUSE ME???

EXCUSE ME? I can’t, and I don’t have respect and that kind of patience to deal with ignorant human beings.

If you work a sales /customer service job then I have a lot of respect for you! Please don’t take this attitude and tell them as politely as you can to correct their behavior.
